  Since I was a child, I can't even report how many times we would be out at a restaurant and he'd put sugar in his coffee, stirring it LOUDLY with his spoon.  He.just.wouldn't.quit.banging that damn spoon against the cup until one of us paid attention to him.  My grandfather must have taught him that!
