MEMORIES OF RON ~ DAVID

  Julie and I start dating and Ron was an electrician working for the IBEW Local 332. I was not wanting to do the environmental engineering political report writing and wanted to change my career path.  I had options of electrical or HVAC.  I chose

electrical and that is where it started.

  My third year as an electrician Ron got let go from the company he was working for and the company I was working for was able to hire him months before he retired.  I had fun working with him on the job, but then there was an option to do side work with him at a friend’s house.  We would carpool together into Gilroy and work doing whatever needed done, from helping set up a pool, sprinklers and planting a lawn, to copper pipe plumbing for the house.
