MEMORIES OF RON ~ DAVID

I remember asking if I could store a boat over at Ron’s house, which turned into me asking if I could put a roof over the boat, which turned into a larger “shed” that I used to store excess crap.

I would bring things home from work and Ron would greet me out by my truck to help unload and survey what cool stuff he might be able to use.

We would sit outside the shed talking about work and he would constantly ask me if I knew this guy or that guy then proceed to tell me about the stories he had while working.  He would sit and listen to my problems and give me fatherly life advice, about work and his daughter.

I remember him tipping his tractor over while we were out digging for irrigation for trees, and him helping me get the bobcat tipped back onto its wheels when I fell into the trench.  He always had ideas on ways of doing things.
