MEMORIES OF RON ~ JASON

  Near the beginning of when I first started coming over for dinner, I remember it was just Ron and I sitting in the living room for some reason. To lighten the mood myself and try to make things less awkward, I asked him about his jelly making and the difference between jam and jelly (I was genuinely curious).

  Jody came over at some point to listen in on the conversation, which was just Ron giving a very in depth and detailed teaching of the difference between the two. When he was done, he finished with “ahh but who really cares about all that anyways?”

  Jody and I cracked up. Maybe he got a sense that I was trying to get to know him and how maybe uninteresting of a conversation it was. 

I’m very honored and grateful to have spent time with him.
